My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Hockey is a sport where being tough and not showing pain and emotion is the norm. The Bethel Park hockey organization wants to spread awareness that its okay to not be okay. We spend time teaching and talking with our student athletes about talking through problems that they may have instead of keeping it all inside. We would love to be more than a sports team and be a positive change in the community. Throughout the month of November myself, and other coaches throughout the organization and players that can grow facial hair will be growing mustaches to show our support and help spread awareness. We will be showing updates here and on other social media platforms as the month rolls along. Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and we want to help them get there. Help us stop men dying too young. Together we can reach our goal of 1000 dollars. Please share this and spread the word on Men’s mental health. Go Hawks!
