My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

In 2011 my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early on and was operable. I got to see first hand his journey and the struggles that came with him having prostate cancer. My father, the strongest man I know, put on a brave face and did what was needed for his health and family. Today he is a cancer survivor and has had a clean bill of health ever since.

In 2023 I started to realize that there was something going on with me; brain fog, difficulties accomplishing personal and work goals, lethargic, having difficulty holding a conversation, losing my train of thought, and much more. I seeked professional help and after a period of time was diagnosed with ADHD. After getting diagnosed, I’ve started to learn a lot about myself — things that finally makes sense. I will continue this journey to become a better ME.

Additionally, I feel that it is extremely important to start and continue conversations around mental health and the struggles that come from it. Men have been conditioned to believe that it is a sign of weakness to talking about their mental wellbeing, let’s break that stigma. Let’s have each other’s back. We got this.
