My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Originally, I started this because I thought it was cool what the Aussies were doing while we were deployed. Then I started looking at all the very close connections cancer has had to me through my family members. I became invested in this personally. (Make sure you get checked, as early detection is the key.) This year I wanted to shift the focus. This year I want to raise awareness and support for men going through a different type of health issue.
Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
