Pringles Encourages Conversations Around Mental Health

Movember
2 minutes read time

Pringles® is joining Movember to drive more open conversations around men’s mental health. According to a poll by researchers at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), nearly one in 10 men reported experiencing some form of depression or anxiety, but fewer than half sought treatment. Pringles is supporting Movember to help men live happier, healthier, longer lives.

As a result of fans who purchased a can of Pringles at Kroger earlier this fall, the brand donated $150,000 to the cause and will continue to drive awareness with the help of their beloved mascot, Julius Pringle. Mr. P shaves his iconic moustache, calling men everywhere to join him in shaving their faces to kickstart important conversations. Whether or not fans have facial hair to shave, you can join the cause by grabbing a can of Pringles, gathering your friends and encouraging open discussions about mental health.

“The Pringles brand has always believed in the power of shared camaraderie, and this includes motivating men to stay connected,” said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. We know our delicious crisps are best enjoyed with friends and through Mr. P and a can of Pringles, we hope to help people come together and build a sense of wellbeing, together.”
