For the past two years, there’s been a bounty on Auston’s epic moustache.

In 2021, fans voted to shave it off and the world got its first glimpse since he came into the league at a moustache-less Auston Matthews.

But, a fresh-faced Auston quickly realized…Movember isn’t about dividing the community, it’s about the many conversations his Mo started in the first place.

So, this year…the moustache stays.
This year…it’s about the conversations the Mo starts.
This year…it’s about the conversations your Mo starts.

Whether you love it or hate it, Auston’s Mo is a powerful reminder of what Movember is all about: bad (er-unique…) moustaches that spark conversations and have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.

Since 2003, people around the world have been growing Mo's, MOVE-ing, HOST-ing and conducting their own MO-YOUR-OWN-WAY challenges, all while raising life-changing funds, and starting conversations aimed at helping men live happier, healthier, longer lives.

This November, let us think of Auston’s Mo as a beacon of light. Proof that, on even the toughest days, we can rise up and come back stronger than ever. Auston’s Mo has done its time. It’s gone through the wringer and it hasn’t given up – just like the Movember community. Auston’s Mo is – once again - here to remind us that no matter your follicle prowess, whatever you grow, will save a bro.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Auston Matthews to Movember in the US,” says Mark Hedstrom, Country Director for Movember US. “We see the power of the Mo every day, so to have a moustache as iconic as Auston’s rallying support for Movember on both sides of the border is exciting. Not only is Auston starting important conversations, but he’s raising crucial awareness and funds in support of men’s health.”

We’re inviting fans across North American to join in the conversation and donate to Team Auston in support of men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
