In 2023, more than 12,190 individuals across 1,000 companies participated in Movember and raised over $4.3 million for men's health. We can’t thank our generous workplace fundraisers enough for their unwavering support in championing awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Our workplace community plays a crucial role in helping Movember fund world-class programs that make a tangible difference in the lives of men and their families.

Of our workplace community, there were 103 organizations that went above and beyond, earning a spot in the Movember Business Club (MBC). The following spotlights select MBC companies and the strategies that propelled their fundraising efforts and community engagement.

Cox Enterprises and Lord Abbett

Since joining the Movember Business Club, Cox Enterprises and Lord Abbett have consistently surpassed their fundraising goals. This year, both companies aimed to reach $1 million in lifetime funds raised. To achieve this milestone, Lord Abbett promoted fundraising challenges with impactful rewards, such as a unique skateboard trophy for the top fundraiser, while Cox hosted its annual holiday-themed cooking class to build community. This accomplishment was made possible by strong employee engagement, executive support, and dedication to Movember's cause areas.

Columbia Sportswear

To highlight the importance of being an ally, Columbia Sportswear teamed up with Portland-based non-profit Breast Friends to host a special fashion show raising funds and awareness for women's and men's health. The impactful event created opportunities for employees to build relationships, share personal stories connected to the causes, and encourage many to get involved by joining the team or donating to Columbia's efforts.

CVS Health

CVS Health's annual Movember efforts have raised crucial funds and boosted awareness for men’s health for over ten years. The CVS team consistently activates multiple ways of giving: peer-to-peer fundraising, gift matching, and a CVS Health Foundation grant. This year, the team elevated their efforts by becoming an official brand partner promoting Movember to their customers and donating $100,000 from the sales of grooming products essential to upkeep an incredible moustache. With their support and shared alignment with Movember's goals, CVS has promoted dialogue about men's health, making tangible progress toward our collective impact.

Insight Global

As a staffing company, Insight Global is dedicated to empowering its people and having a culture driven by purpose, values, and growth. Through its Jobs & Joy initiative, Insight Global engages passionate wellness ambassadors from 68 offices across the US and Canada. The program donates $2,000 for every 100th person hired from November 1st to December 31st. Through this initiative, Insight Global sets out to place 10,000 people into new jobs and gives them the opportunity to pay it forward and support Movember. In 2023, the Insight Global team raised over $30,000, securing a spot in the Silver Level of the MBC.
