My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

For years, my drive has been fueled by my close friend and team leader, Kris, who bravely shared his journey with cancer. I’ve always been so grateful to support him, and I still am.
Although in recent years, Movember has presented a new challenge: Mental Health.
About three years ago, I began to notice some troubling changes. For the first time, mens health shows me its ugly face and I felt the weight of my own mental health issues.
It’s been incredibly tough, exhausting, and scary, sometimes feeling completely out of control— often every day being a struggle. Some days are better, and others are worse, but I quickly realized that depression is a real and ongoing battle. Thankfully, I’ve been able to learn about my mental health and find support as I navigate this new normal. It’s truly eye-opening to see how much help family, friends, therapy, and medication can make. But there’s still so much more to be done. People often don’t talk about it until they hear about something bad happening to someone they know.
Luckily for me, some of the best medicine is simply by helping and making others day just a little bit better.

My motivation is to try something new, be open with people about it, spread the word about men’s health, maybe even encourage someone to reach out for help. To stand up for someone and support them.

With your help, we can raise funds and awareness to Change the Face of Mens Health

“All it takes is a beautiful fake smile to hide an injured soul, and they will never notice how broken you really are.”
- Robin Williams

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle you know nothing about"
-Ian MacLaren

I admire your courage in bringing your mental health challenge out in the open. I admire your determination in finding a way for yourself and other men to get help. This is so essential to so many. I wish you the best and I’m here for you in anyway that I can. Love Aunty.
