My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention
Men's health

In years past, My motivation has always revolved around my close friend and team leader Kris who has shared his story of fighting his own battle with cancer. I've always been happy supporting him and continue to do so.
The past year, Movember has approached me with a different face: Mental Health.
Three years ago or so, I started noticing negative changes. For the first time in my life ever, the door to my mind's mental health awareness revealed its ugly face. It was tough. It was tiring, it was exhausting, scary and uncontrollable. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Every Day… is a struggle for me and has affected my family. Thankfully, with the resources that are available, I’ve been able to learn about my own mental health and find help in navigating my new normal. It’s truly eye opening what the help of therapists and medication can do. But much more needs being done

My Motivation is to try something new, be open with people about it, spread the word, maybe get someone to reach out for help. To stand up for someone and support them.
-This year, I’ll be continuing my nightly runs/walks: 1 month= 60+miles for the 60 men that commit suicide globally every hour of every day. *this year I started early and have been averaging 3-5 miles a day for extra*
-I started clean shaven a month or so early just so I can really party with the lip sweater this month.
-I’ve mentioned Movember to my employer which corporate is interested in me presenting and championing a Movember event for 2025. Nervous and psyched at the same time.

With your help, we can Raise Funds and Awareness for Men’s Health

“ALL IT TAKES IS A BEAUTIFUL FAKE SMILE TO HIDE AN INJURED SOUL AND THEY WILL NEVER NOTICE HOW
BROKEN YOU REALLY ARE.”
- Robin Williams

“Be nice to each other. Ya never know what battle the other person is fighting”

I admire your courage in bringing your mental health challenge out in the open. I admire your determination in finding a way for yourself and other men to get help. This is so essential to so many. I wish you the best and I’m here for you in anyway that I can. Love Aunty.
