Currently, 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, affecting more than 16 million men worldwide. However, findings in genomic science and diagnostic advances mean patients can receive more effective, personalized treatments, or advice that they simply need active surveillance, leading to less overtreatment. Thanks to our men’s health partners like the Prostate Cancer Foundation, much progress has been made through collaboration and innovation to end prostate cancer as a cause of death in the world’s male population. All this progress gives men a real reason to be hopeful about the future of prostate cancer.

Dr. Jonathan Simons, internationally renowned physician-scientist, President and CEO of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, shares how this progress has ushered in a new era of precision medicine with an end to prostate cancer on the horizon.

Together, we are truly changing the face of men’s health.
