In the US this year, the Movember Foundation saw hundreds of thousands Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world grow, give, and MOVE to change the face of men’s health. Through every conversation started, every follicle grown, and every dollar raised, our community showed an unbelievable outpouring of support for some of the world’s most pressing men’s health issues. Since 30 friends first grew moustaches in Melbourne, Australian in 2003, we have grown to become the largest men’s health movement in the world. We’d like to take this moment as moustache season comes to a close to thank you for your incredible support. We continue to be astonished by the efforts of the Mo community— each and every one, whether Mo Bro, Mo Sista or donor, has helped us achieve an incredibly successful year.
Well over $650 million has now been raised globally and those numbers increase every day. The world-class programs that you are funding are making a tangible difference in the lives of men and their families. Like everything we do at the Movember Foundation, we are approaching our program investment strategy in a different way. We insist on collaboration, not just at a national level but also at a global level. We insist on transparency and accountability for every funded project. We are about accelerating outcomes for men that will change and save lives now.
