Give your nuts a feel - then do it again

Knowing your nuts is the best way to check if something's not right with your downstairs equipment. If you feel a lump on your testicle, notice swelling, or feel pain or something unusual down there, don't ignore it – head straight to your doctor and get it checked.

Go on, have a feel

Getting to know your nuts is so easy that you can do it in the shower. It only takes a minute and we've even got this handy guide on how to do a testicular self-examination.

Get warm in the shower (so things are nice and loose). Start on one side, rolling one nut between your thumb and fingers to feel for things like shape, size and consistency. Swap to your other testicle and repeat. Your nuts should feel smooth and firm, sensitive, but not painful.

Make it a habit

Now that you’ve gotten to know your nuts, make sure you check in on them every so often. Don’t be a one-and-done kind of guy. Start a habit and check in on your downstairs equipment. Giving your testicles a regular feel will help you notice any changes over time.

If something’s not quite right – maybe you notice a lump on your testicle, swelling or pain, or maybe it just feels unusual for you – book an appointment with your doctor and get it checked.

When caught early, testicular cancer is highly curable. Be the guy who knows his nuts well, and acts quickly if he feels something unusual. Be THAT guy.
