The Movember Foundation Clinical Trial Award supports clinical trials initiated in Australia that have the capacity to transform the clinical management of men with prostate cancer within the course of the trial and/or immediately post completion of the trial.
The award aims to accelerate the development of prostate cancer biomedical research projects previously funded by Movember towards the next stage of clinical translation, with the hope that men with prostate cancer will benefit from the research outcomes sooner.
Prostate Cancer UK and the Movember Foundation will develop the next generation of experts in prostate cancer research by supporting their scientific and career development. We will also improve clinical practice by encouraging clinicians to enter into a research career and to fill gaps in expertise that may prevent or delay groundbreaking high impact prostate cancer research.
