My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Testicular cancer

Andreas “Dre” Sharnoff was born on August 7, 1988. At the age of 32 on February 7th 2019 he was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer (80% Choriocarcinoma) with spreading of metastasis to other parts of his body. If you knew Dre, you knew he was one hell of a fighter and his perseverance unmatched. He bravely endured every treatment option available and with his medical team explored treatment outside of the textbook for 18 months. Although his mind was sharper than a knife and his spirit as vibrant as ever, Dre’s body was tired. On September 18th 2021, Dre passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in his wife’s arms.

Dre Sharnoff was a one of a kind in the best of ways. His personality, kindness, and humor had a way of lighting up a room. He had the ability to make everyone around him feel welcomed and comfortable with his warm presence. Even in the darkest of times as Dre navigated his treatments, he was intentional to check on his loved ones to see how they were doing as opposed to dwelling on his circumstances. That was the core of Dre Sharnoff; he was selfless and loving, a deep thinker, an adventure seeker. He was the best kind of human; to know him was to love him. Dre was a devout and loving husband who spent 10 incredible years by his wife’s side. Dre and Ashley loved each other fiercely and battled this terrible disease together, hand in hand with everything they had.

It is Dre’s wish that his legacy be carried on through stories and laughter but also through bringing awareness to the disease that took him away from us all too soon. This organization holds a special place in Dre’s and his families hearts. We ask if you feel led to please post, share, donate to the Movember organization to honor Dre’s story and keep his legacy alive.

Dre and I might have listened to the complete opposite music genres but damn, did we hit it off from day 1 of Delt. Going to miss seeing his sarcasm and love of sneakers. Rest easy brother, keep watching over ashley.
