My motivation

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

I’m excited to be a Movember Student Ambassador at Wesleyan! My motivation for seeking this opportunity goes beyond the excuse to grow an aggressive mustache. The stigma surrounding men’s mental health issues continues to be a problem. It is difficult to see men suffer and commit suicide at such an alarming rate when there are ways to get help. I want to work with Movember to spread awareness and help solve this issue.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
